Meet the Instruments: Building an Orchestra
Join us for a playful summer journey through the orchestra! Each week, children and parents will explore a different family of instruments through singing, movement, listening, rhythm activities, and hands-on musical experiences.
Week 1 introduces the full orchestra, followed by:
Children will hear musical selections from the classical repertoire performed by the London Symphony Orchestra while discovering instrument sounds, musical concepts, and even the science of sound itself. Classes include movement, singing, rhythm exploration, listening activities, and joyful parent-child participation designed to nurture musical development and curiosity.
Perfect for families interested in preparing children for future instrumental study.

Lina Elwood received 2nd place at the Chopin International Competition, Hartford, CT.

Samuel Rossoni received first place at Crescendo International Competition, and performed at the Weill Recital Hall at the Carnegie Hall.
