A closer look at Jump Start, Ready Start, and Summer music experiences.
Foundational parent-child Suzuki class building early musical habits through repetition and guided technique. Offered year-round. Join anytime.
Jump Start builds foundational musical learning through structured, cyclical repetition of sensory-based experiences and hands-on guided participation. Through consistent exposure and physical support, musical responses develop from conscious effort into increasingly automatic, embodied patterns of learning.
Together, children and parents build the foundational habits of listening, coordination, and musical engagement that support all future instrumental study.
A structured Suzuki Early Childhood class for children who are ready for more focused, cumulative musical learning and increasing independence. One semester, offered fall & spring.
Ready Start moves children from sensory musical experiences into more intentional, structured musical understanding, where familiar concepts are expanded through cumulative learning and applied in increasingly independent group settings.
Ready Start is a structured Suzuki Early Childhood class designed for children who are ready for more focused group learning and increasing independence.
Parents remain actively involved, providing loving, hands-on support during activities and building toward their role as Practice Partner in future instrumental study.
Offered year round. 👉 See description above ↑
A weekly summer class where children explore the orchestra by gradually “building” one together over the course of the program. Inspired by How to Build an Orchestra, children listen to select London Symphony Orchestra recordings and discover how each instrument and family contributes to the whole ensemble.
This exploratory, storytelling-based approach is intentionally different from our structured Ready Start program and helps children experience the orchestra as a whole before beginning formal instrumental study.
This class is exploratory and does not replace Ready Start or private instrumental instruction.
A summer camp designed to help children discover the joy of making music while exploring the instruments of Suzuki Music Schools.
Designed for children who are curious about learning an instrument, Little Musicians Camp provides guided experiences with Suzuki faculty, meaningful exposure to a variety of instruments, and valuable insight into future musical study.
A themed summer music camp designed for families with young children to experience music, movement, and creative activities together in a relaxed, joyful setting.
Family Camp is a joyful summer experience where families make music together in a playful, relaxed setting. Family Music Camp is especially enjoyable for current Jump Start families and new families alike, offering a relaxed summer opportunity to make music together outside the weekly class setting.
