Music can be part of your baby’s world from the very beginning.
Tummy Concerts are intimate musical experiences created especially for expectant parents and families with young infants. Relax on the floor or in a chair with your baby as one of our musicians performs 20–25 minutes of beautiful live music up close.
But a Tummy Concert is more than a concert.
As part of the experience, we’ll introduce the Suzuki Prenatal & Infant Listening Program, exploring simple ways to listen and move with your baby using some of the music you’ve just heard. You’ll learn how you can continue listening at home and begin creating a rich musical environment for your baby—before and after birth.
There is nothing your baby needs to do. Babies may sleep, wiggle, feed, look around, cuddle, or move while you listen together. Expectant parents are equally welcome.
Families are also invited to experience our Suzuki Early Childhood Education classes, where parents and children make music together through listening, singing, movement, rhythm, and musical play.
Suzuki Early Childhood Education classes are free for expectant parents and babies through 6 months of age. Classes continue from infancy through age 6, growing with your child as listening, movement, musical awareness, and readiness for instrumental study.
